D.A.V Centenary Public School Shahabad (M) a vision of D.A.V College Managing Committee, New Delhi Came into existence in 1988 in a rented building under the guidance of Mrs.Rooprekha, the founder principal of the school .  In the first year the school had classes from  Nursery to Vth, a students’ strength of 40 and 9 staff members on its roll. At first it was affiliated to I.C.S.E board New Delhi. Over the years, the school has surmounted all the difficulties under the leadership of various principals and now it has risen to phenomenal heights under the visionary and strong leadership of Mrs.Sarita Kaushik, the principal of the school. At present it is full fledged  C.B.S.E affiliated sprawling mansion with more than 700 students, 50 teaching and non teaching staff members .   The completion of 25 years is indeed a major milestone in the life of the school. Today the school has a spacious and imposing building of its own with lush green lawn, hygienic and serene environment for studies, a big play ground with the present stature of Science lab, Maths lab ,air conditioned Computer lab enlisted with 26 computers, enriched Library, Music room (comprising of guitar, harmonium, Congo, Casio, Home theatre), Art room, a big Multimedia room, Activity room for juniors and Smart class to make teaching vibrant and varied. For safe commuting from far off and local places the school has 8 buses, 63 KVA generator for 24 hours power backup, 3ACs, water coolers, CCTV cameras to survelize. The school provides the perfect ambience where the young saplings blossom into beautiful flowers who will later spread their fragrance all over the world.  Its well designed curriculum and pedagogy not only promotes and encourage talent in the field of academics but in other co-curricular activities.
